Lechia's History
History of Lechia can be included into Polish history, because it is predecessor. However more accurate and correct with historical facts would be thesis that the Polish history is a small and very late fragment of Great Lechia's history. It is not so important because Polish society nowadays becomes more and more aware of that, the Lechites, were our ancestors, and words Poland and Poles have been created relatively lately, around 1000 years ago and have been imposed on us Lechits. Polish annalists have been introducing this new name gradually between 12th and 15th century AD. For them our country was originally called Lechia, and we were Lechites.
